This program is designed to equip you with essential knowledge and practical skills in meat handling, hygiene practices, and cleaning of equipment in line with applicable South African legislation. It prepares trainees for work in retail butcheries, abattoirs, and meat processing facilities, with a strong focus on enhancing food safety, maintaining hygiene standards, and protecting consumer health—while ensuring your butchery operates within legal requirements.

The course runs over two days and is priced at R1,500 per person (for the 2 days). For group bookings of more than five people, a discounted rate of R1,000 per person applies.
